IDEAS TO IMPACT 2013

“Ideas to Impact” (i2i) came from Canada to London! After launching in San Francisco and then spreading to Toronto and New Jersey, IMHO’s experiment in “innovative humanitarianism” headed to the UK.

UKTSU organised an Ideas2Impact meeting, in collaboration with IMHO, for students and young professionals to mingle and share their ideas to help children and the wider community in war-stricken villages to improve their quality of life.

Our guests participated in a unique brainstorming session in which groups of guests with the same interests in specific humanitarian needs debated about nutrition, mental health, diaspora and youth development.

We generated many innovative project ideas and are now taking the next step to turn the ideas into solutions to make real impact on the lives of underprivileged children and adults in a community in North East Sri Lanka.
