Britain’s Brainiest Pillai 2012 – Coming Soon!

One of our ways of nurturing Tamil students is by reaching out to the younger generations. BBP is an educational quiz competition which provides an opportunity for talented, young Tamil students to be recognised on stage and be awarded the honour of being the smartest Tamil child in the UK.
The competition will involve over 300 contestants from two age groups; Under 11s and Under 13s, battling it out to win the title of ‘Britain’s Brainiest Pillai 2012’. The competition will consist of 3 rounds of quizzing in various topics such as General Knowledge, Tamil, English, Maths, Science, History, Geography, Sports, Entertainment and Religion.

The 1st round is in the form of a written test made up of multiple choice questions, and the successful contestants from this round then face one-to-one questions for a timed period in the 2nd round. The victorious contestants from the 2nd round will then be invited to the grand final event, a stage show, which will take place at a later date. Further information regarding the grand final and its structure will be made available nearer to the time.

The 1st & 2nd rounds will take place in different parts of London at the same time on the same day in late September.
